Frequently Asked Questions
How Long Does An Order Take To Arrive?
Orders are dispatched from our store in 1-2 working days. International orders normally arrive within 3-5 days of shipping. Please note that these orders need to pass through the customs office in your country before it will be released for final delivery, which can occasionally cause additional delays.
WHAT ABOUT DUTIES & TAXES?
Import duties and local taxes may apply depending on destination. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to.
Why did I receive only part of my order?
We have two locations from where we ship, Beirut and Dubai. Depending on the location of the ordered items, they might come in two different shipments. We always try to ship from one place but if it is not possible you will receive two different shipments.
How To Return My Items?
We do not currently offer free returns to overseas customers. You will therefore need to cover all costs of returning any items to us yourself.
Customized items unfortunately, can't be returned.
For local customers in Lebanon or the UAE, we offer free exchange.
Which Payment Methods Do You Accept?
Orient 499 accepts the following payment methods for online purchases:
• All major credit cards, as shown at checkout
• PayPal: if you do not have an account yet, you can create one while shopping with us
• Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay
Please note that your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement.
How Can I Track My Order?
Once you place your order online, you will be able to see the details of the purchase, follow its preparation, and see shipping updates in the My Account area.
How Can I Choose The Right Size For Me?
Orient 499 clothing usually run large. You can easily spot the best size for you by referring to our Size Guide that provides a conversion table to all major country size systems.
The Size Guide is conveniently available on the page of each product.
I saw a product I love and now it's sold out. Will certain products get back in stock?
As some of our products sell quickly online and in-store we are not always able to keep up with every product that is sold out or returned. Since a lot of our products are produced in small batches and many are unique pieces made out of rare fabric, we will not have them in stock again.
